CHOMA WOMAN AXED TO DEATH BY HUSBAND AS SHE TRIED TO HAND HIM DIVORCE SUMMONS

A 33 year old  woman of Kabimba area in Choma District has been axed to death by her husband.

 Cousin to the deceased Ferbian Mudenda has identified  the victim as Cheelo Atrina Sialushamba.

Mr Mudenda narrates that the incident happened this morning  when  the deceased  wanted to give divorce summons to her husband Victor Sungababwa.

He adds that the deceased was a second wife to Mr. Sungababwa and that the couple were on separation following a marital dispute. 

And Kabimba Ward Councilor Honesty Muzumbwe has disclosed that  the suspect is currently admitted to Choma General Hospital as he had taken some poisonous substance after the incident, while the body of the deceased has been deposited at Choma general hospital Mortuary.

Mr Muzumbwe  has since advised married couples and  community members at large to find amicable ways of resolving disputes.
